Nick’s journey into pastoral ministry started as a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. God used his time as an undergraduate, particularly through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, to reveal a calling to full time pastoral ministry. After graduating from UWEC, Nick enrolled at Bethel seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in New Testament Greek. He has been in church pastoral ministry since 2005 and has served at SEFC since 2007. Nick has a great love of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to others and laboring to develop and deploy fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Some of Nick’s other passions include cycling, running, bowhunting, and hiking. Nick has been blessed with a wonderful wife Alana and three energetic young sons.

Despite the fact that Teresa is from the ‘other side of the river’ (WI), she and her family began attending SEFC in 2013. The desire to join a church family, experience authentic worship, nurture iron-sharpens-iron relationships, and absorb Bible-centered preaching make the trek across they St. Croix joyful. Having earned a B.S. degree in Biology, Teresa quickly found that pouring into children’s hearts is more rewarding than pouring chemicals into beakers. Having survived 24 years of homeschooling, many years of teaching Sunday school, and working as an Awana volunteer, the Lord has prepared Teresa to work alongside Children’s Ministry volunteers at SEFC. Her vision is to share the Gospel of Jesus with as many children as possible, training and equipping volunteers with the tools, knowledge, wisdom, and prayers they need.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoys teaching weekly lessons to 50+ piano students, playing her favorite Chopin pieces on the piano, reading, walking her Siberian Husky, and spending time with her husband and four children.
