Meet Our Staff

Senior Pastor Nick Hardt

The vision of SEFC is to develop and deploy mature disciples of Jesus Christ. It is a great joy to lead and serve in a church that has a vision that mirrors my own personal passion for building fully-devoted followers of Jesus.

My journey into pastoral ministry started as a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. God used my time as an undergraduate, particularly through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, to reveal a calling for full time pastoral ministry. After graduating from UWEC, I enrolled at Bethel seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in New Testament Greek.

I have a great love for reading, applying and teaching Holy Scripture to myself and others. I have been in church pastoral ministry since 2005 and have been serving here at SEFC since 2007.

Some of my other passions include cycling, running, bowhunting, hiking and drinking coffee.

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife Alana, 2 goldendoodles, and our newest edition Miles Marvin Hardt, born last August!

Youth Pastor Micah Anderson

My call to ministry began in high school through the ministry of Teens for Christ. God used my time serving in this ministry to confirm His call on my life to serve in the local church.

After graduating from Institute for Teen Evangelism, I attended Ocean’s Edge School of Worship where I received leadership and worship ministry training. God has given me a passion for discipleship and prayer and to see students surrender their lives to Christ as they grow in relationship with God. I have been serving in pastoral ministry since 2012 and have been serving here since 2015.

Some of my other passions include playing music, rock climbing, and reading. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and a great community. It is a great joy to be a part this church family.

Worship Leader Robert Tratz

Music is at the heart of worship. It encourages us, strengthens us, convicts us, and brings us to tears at the foot of the Cross. Worship has been the never waning portion of my walk with Jesus Christ. I have consistently been a worship leader is some capacity for over 30 years.

As a child and teenager, I worshipped with the church choir and during my college years I continued singing in choirs and various music teams. In 1987 after obtaining a degree in fine art, from Bethel University, I was approached to be a worship leader for a new church plant. That was the beginning of leading worship teams.

I have been with SEFC for over 15 years, and over that time the technology has changed. Slides and overheads have given way to projectors and fancy computer programs, pianos and organs have been replaced with guitars and drums, but the core of worship has remained the same. We are called to sing, play our instruments, and turn our hearts toward the Lord.
