Senior Pastor Nick Hardt

The vision of SEFC is to develop and deploy mature disciples of Jesus Christ. It is a great joy to lead and serve in a church that has a vision that mirrors my own personal passion for building fully-devoted followers of Jesus.

My journey into pastoral ministry started as a Molecular Biology/Biochemistry student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. God used my time as an undergraduate, particularly through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, to reveal a calling for full time pastoral ministry. After graduating from UWEC, I enrolled at Bethel seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in New Testament Greek.

I have a great love for reading, applying and teaching Holy Scripture to myself and others. I have been in church pastoral ministry since 2005 and have been serving here at SEFC since 2007.

Some of my other passions include cycling, running, bowhunting, hiking and drinking coffee.

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife Alana, two shaggy goldendoodles, and two energetic young sons (Which explains my love for coffee)!

Youth Pastor Micah Anderson

Micah joined SEFC in 2015 as the Junior and Senior High Youth Pastor, and took on the role of interim director of worship in 2018. He has 9 years of experience in worship, youth and young adult ministry. In 2012 he graduated from Ocean’s Edge School of Worship, after receiving training at the Institute for Teen Evangelism.  He is currently working on dual Christian Ministry and Masters of Divinity degrees through Crown College.

Micah finds great joy walking alongside students as they develop in their own journey with Christ. He is passionate about growing God-honoring community through personal discipleship and prayer. As a musician, he also enjoys developing his technical skills, and worshipping God through music grounded in the truths of Scripture.

In his spare time, Micah can be found dabbling in rock climbing, teaching guitar, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and voraciously reading.  Married since 2015, he and his wife Elizabeth enjoy exploring nature together and playing new board games. They live in Stillwater, and love being a part of the SEFC church family!

Children's Ministry Coordinator

Alicia Loquai

Alicia grew up in Roseville, MN and attended Gustavus Adolphus earning a degree in International Management. Alicia and John started attending SEFC in 2015 while dating.  They felt the strong community and friendships from the church and have chosen to call SEFC their home. In January 2016, Pastor Nick married them in Lutsen, MN and a few years later they welcomed Thomas Emmett Loquai to the family. Alicia became more invested in the direction and role that God would have in Thomas’s life and it led to her first ministry role as Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Her goal is to help families learn together the power of God’s word and how it guides us through the many seasons of life.

Alicia enjoys gardening, craft projects, connecting with the wonderful women at SEFC, and long walks near their home in Afton. If she could travel every day and see something new she would.
